A Meta catalog feed does not announce when it breaks. Products drop out one at a time, ads keep spending against items nobody can buy, and you find out weeks later from the numbers. CatalogCanary tells you the same day.
What it does
CatalogCanary generates a Meta (Facebook and Instagram) product feed from your WooCommerce store, then watches it. Every run is compared against the last one. If products vanish, if a variation loses its price, if a required field goes missing, you are told which products and why — in plain language, not a row number in a CSV.
- Variable products handled properly. Each variation is its own catalog entry with its own price, image and attributes, grouped under the parent so Meta shows them as one product.
- Every skipped product is explained. No silent drops.
- Works when WP-Cron does not. Feeds can be generated on demand, which matters on hosts where scheduled tasks never fire.
- The feed URL is not guessable, so your full catalog is not sitting on a public path waiting to be found.

Common questions
Does it replace my existing feed plugin?
It can, but it does not have to. Nothing stops you running CatalogCanary alongside another feed for a while to compare the two.
Where is the feed hosted?
On your own site, in your uploads folder, at a URL containing a random token. Nothing about your catalog is sent to us.
What happens if my licence lapses?
The free plugin keeps working exactly as before. Pro features stop, nothing is deleted, and your feed keeps generating.
